What is L-Theanine?
L-theanine is an amino acid which can be found naturally in green tea and is one of the primary reasons why green tea is so revered as a soothing drink which also enhances alertness. L-theanine works by inhibiting the production of glutamate, one of our brains most common excitatory neurotransmitter.
